So why are so many midlife women getting bone loss?
Here's what we were not told about our bones, and the simple plan to protect them starting now, before anything ever goes wrong.

You did everything "right." So why are so many midlife women getting bone loss?
Here's what we were not told us about our bones, and the simple plan to protect them starting now, before anything ever goes wrong.
The problem with bone loss?
Most of us were told to walk, take calcium and not think much about our bones until we're older.
But midlife changed this whole conversation!
Bone loss can happen quietly, which is why so many women are shocked when a scan comes back with osteopenia or osteoporosis. I kept seeing this happen to strong, active women who were doing everything we were told to do—and I wanted to know WHY.
Because “walk more and take calcium” is not the whole answer. So I started asking questions, interviewing experts and digging into what our bones actually need in midlife.
And this isn’t really about a number on a scan. It’s about being able to travel, hike, carry your own suitcase, get down on the floor and pop right back up.

STRONG BONES HELP
I took what I learned from the experts, plus what I’ve lived through in my own body, and stripped it down to the pieces that actually matter.

Give your bones the impact signal most women are missing.

Use gradual progressive resistance to support muscle and bone.

Give your body the protein and nutrients your bones need.

Use testing and targeted support instead of guessing.
You are not going to be starving or restricting or counting every calorie
You are not cutting out your favorite foods or whole food groups
You are not killing yourself at the gym
And you are not chasing another quick fix that fizzles out in two weeks

Understand DEXA scans, what your results mean, what they don't tell you, why you should NOT wait until 65 to get one, and what other testing may be worth discussing with your healthcare provider.

Learn how to use heel drops, stomps, hops, step-downs and step jumps to add impact gradually and safely, with demonstrations so you know exactly what to do.

Understand why progressive strength training matters and how it fits into your bone-health plan.

Simplify protein, calcium, vitamin D, magnesium and the other nutrients that support healthy bones without feeling like you need a cabinet full of supplements.

Put impact, strength, walking, nutrition and recovery together into a simple routine you can actually keep doing.

Why your “trendy” shoes or even your everyday shoes or may be working against your bones and your balance, and the simple flat-shoe fix.

You want to get ahead of bone loss before there’s a problem
You’re peri- or postmenopausal
Osteoporosis/osteopenia runs in your family
Or a scan result has you wondering what to do next
And you do NOT need to already have bone loss. Actually, I’d rather you start before you do.
Not for you if you want a magic pill or overnight fix. Bones don’t work that way, and I won’t pretend they do.
Important: If you have significant bone loss, osteoporosis, previous fractures, joint replacements, spinal hardware or another health condition that may affect exercise, work with your healthcare provider before beginning higher-impact movements.
I've spent years helping women challenge the idea that getting older automatically means becoming weaker, slower or less capable.
And I've had to rebuild my own body more than once.
Degenerative disc disease. A ruptured disc and disc replacement. A torn bicep. Broken bones. More injuries than I care to count.
Every single time, I'd think, are you kidding me? Again?
So protecting the body we get to LIVE in is deeply personal to me.
When I started seeing strong, active women around me receive surprising bone-loss diagnoses, I wanted answers.
I went looking for them.
And then I turned what I learned into the straightforward plan I wish every midlife woman had.

So when I tell you we can challenge your bones
AND keep you safe, that's not a slogan.
So when I tell you we can challenge your bones AND keep you safe, that's not a slogan.
No. This program is also for women who want to be proactive and protect their bones before there is ever a problem.
You don't start there. The program includes gentler options like heel drops, stomps and step-downs so you can begin at an appropriate level and progress from there.
The impact work itself is intentionally short. You're looking at a few minutes, a few days a week, alongside your strength training and other healthy habits.
Getting a baseline is one of the first things I'll have you talk to your provider about. Inside the program you'll learn what a DEXA measures, what the results mean and what it doesn't tell you.
It is not too late. Bone is living tissue that responds at almost any age. If you already have significant bone loss, we start you in the right place and get your provider involved. Nobody gets left out, we just start smart.
You don’t need to obsess over your bones. You just need to understand what they need and start giving them the right support.
Because the woman you want to be at 60, 70 and 80?
